New Tredegar absent voters in 1918

This page is being updated with information about New Tredegar men serving in the Military or Navy that are contained on the April 1918 absent voters list.

The names do NOT represent all those who were enlisted, just those who were ABSENT from their homes during the enumeration period. Some of these men appear on the New Tredegar memorial.

The data is available to any member of the public. Some of the original entries are not easy to decipher.

Due to the amount of names that are present, the names have been separated into pages as below.

Unless the spelling of details are obvious typing errors, the names are as the original documents show.

Streets are shown as New Tredegar or Phillipstown.
I shan’t debate whether some streets are in Cwmsyfiog or Elliotstown, please... the information is from 1918 documents !
